Entry for a contest I probably wont win, but its always fun to enter If there's anything that does look like it needs changing, please let me know! Also, for the backround characters, should I continue using wisps or should I do the little animals from the original screensavers?
Just goes to show, even when your Sonic and your underwater, missiles flying all over the place, having to rely on ring bubbles, pink wisps popping those ring bubbles, and your wisp buddies and your bro Tails having trouble with dodging the incoming missiles, you can still have fun
This is very awesome ! I think you shuld put more shadows on Sonic's blue area ! I wish you luck ! By the way , do you use dodge and burn tools to shade in Sonic's muzzle , belly and arms ?
thank you! about the burn and dodge, thats yes and no. well for the dodge, no. But for the burn, basically i find the shadowing color i want on the color pallette, and paint where i want the shadows to be. Then, i use the burn tool to intensify certain spots of the shadows, since when it comes to Sonic Screensaver style, some parts of the shadowing are more intense than other parts. hope that makes sense
You're welcome ! I've read some tutrials about digital coloring , and they adviced us not to use burn and dodge tools , anyway , I find them work properly for Sonic style , except for tan , they make the shadow on it look "yellower" than what they should be , that's why I asked ! ^^
